A tennis commitment graphic made with CommitGraphics
The moment

College tennis recruiting runs on a number — your UTR — but the commitment is announced with a photo. The "committed to play tennis at" post is how the news reaches your academy, your doubles partners and the recruiting pages, and it is almost always a match photo with the school's name and colors over it.

CommitGraphics turns that one photo — a serve toss, a forehand follow-through, a fist pump after a set — into a finished tennis commit edit designed around your photo and your school's real colors. Enter the school and its state, and the engine pulls the identity in. Your name and class year are placed exactly as you type them.

It works for men's and women's tennis at every level: Division I programs that sign in November, D2 and NAIA teams that fill rosters into the spring, D3 programs where the commitment is the admission letter, and junior colleges. International commits render the same way as domestic ones.

The Process

A minute from done

01

Your details

Name and the year you graduate high school. Tennis has no position; leave the field blank or type Tennis. Your UTR belongs in the caption.

02

Your school

Type the school and its state. Real colors and identity are pulled in automatically, for ITA top-25 programs and D3 conferences alike.

03

Your photo

One match shot: a serve at the toss, a forehand finish facing the camera, or a celebration at the net. Tournament and academy photos both work.

04

Make it official

Two finished designs per tap. Regenerate until it's the one, then post it the day your coach says the commitment is public.

Why it lands

Built for tennis

No position needed

Singles, doubles, lineup spot — none of it goes on the graphic. Your name, class year and school do.

Any level, any country

A top-10 D1 commit and a D3 commit get the same design quality, and an international player's school renders in the same real colors.

Real school colors

The program's actual palette, automatically, so the post looks like it came from the team's account.

Sized for every feed

Instagram post, Story, square and X in one download for your page, your academy and the accounts that repost commits.

Your UTR got the call. The announcement should look like it.

The CommitGraphics difference

The path

From UTR to signed

Most college tennis players commit after an official or unofficial visit in their junior or senior year, once the coach has your UTR, your results and a video. The verbal is the announcement moment: the commit graphic goes up, and your academy, high-school team and the tennis recruiting accounts repost it.

Signing day for college tennis

For the class of 2027, Division I and II tennis programs sign from Wednesday, November 11, 2026, and the period stays open through the following August. Many players post COMMITTED at the verbal and SIGNED when the paperwork is done; both come from the same pack.

Late commits and international players

Tennis rosters are small and fill late: a D2, NAIA or D3 commitment in February, April or even June is normal, not a sign something went wrong. International players sign the same way and often announce from home; the graphic carries the school's colors wherever it is posted.

The photo

Shooting a tennis commit photo

The forehand finish, face to the camera

The best tennis commit photos are the end of a forehand or backhand shot from the front or slightly to the side, racquet finished, eyes up. The contact point often hides your face behind the racquet or your arm, so ask whoever is shooting to hold the burst and pick the frame just after contact.

Serve toss and celebrations

The serve toss, head up and ball in the air, is the classic tennis portrait. A fist pump between points or a handshake at the net works too. Shoot from courtside at chest height, not from the stands above.

Hats, visors and hard-court glare

Hard courts reflect light upward, which is good for the face; a cap brim at midday is not. Shoot early or late, use a visor, or take the hat off for the portrait. The engine replaces the background, so the court does not need to be empty.

Details

Class year, lineup and how it renders

Tennis has no position, so the position field can stay blank; some players type Tennis, Men's Tennis or Women's Tennis so the sport is explicit on the graphic. Use the year you graduate high school as the class year. UTR, national ranking and the tournaments that got you recruited go in the caption.

Thank your coaches, your academy and your doubles partners in the caption rather than on the graphic; the graphic carries the college, and the caption carries the road. The caption guide has lines that work for individual sports.

Good to know

Questions, answered

Does CommitGraphics make tennis commitment graphics?

Yes. Tennis is one of the sports in the app, for men's and women's programs. Enter your name, class year, school and state, add one match photo, and the engine designs a finished commit edit in the school's real colors in about a minute.

When is signing day for college tennis?

For the class of 2027, Division I and II tennis signs from Wednesday, November 11, 2026, and the period runs through the following August. Division III has no signing day; athletes commit when admitted. NAIA and junior colleges sign on their own schedule.

What do I put in the position field for tennis?

Leave it blank, or type Tennis, Men's Tennis or Women's Tennis. UTR and rankings belong in the caption, not on the graphic.

Does it work for international tennis commits?

Yes. Any school renders the same way, in its real colors, wherever you post from. The graphic is sized for Instagram, Story, square and X.

What photo works best for a tennis commit edit?

A sharp forehand or backhand finish from the front with your face visible, or the serve toss with your head up. Avoid the contact-point frame where the racquet covers your face.

Game, set, committed.
